Monte Rinaldo-Area archaeological area of Cuma. In less than 500m distance there is the archaeological area of Cuma, where in the years 1958-62, the rests of a Hellenistic-Roman temple (264 B.C.) were found, with exceptional historical and artistic relevance. In summer, there are theater plays in the archeological area.


Sibillini Mountains are reminiscent of mysteries from distant times. Because of their exceptional flora and fauna, they are of great naturalistic interest and are an invitation to walking tours, by horse or by mountain bike. Beneath Monte Vettore, which is the highest top of the mountain group with its 2476m, you can admire the Lake of Pilate, the only glacial lake on the Apennines and place of a misterious fable.

The famous “Riviera delle Palme”, the coast between Grottammare and San Benedetto del Tronto, with its rich Mediterranean vegetation, unique spectacle.
Loreto - Inside the basilica, there is the Sanctuary of the Holy House where the Virgin Mary received the Annunciation.  The Sanctuary has been for centuries one of the most important places of pilgrimage.
Ascoli Piceno, one of the most beautiful and interesting cities of Italy, for its extraordinary buildings. In the town centre there are different architectonic styles: medieval and renaissance constructions lie beside roman ruins.
Le Grotte di Frasassi - These caves were discovered in 1971 and has become one of the most important attractions in the Marche, already visited by 10 million people from all over the world.
Food and wine

Thanks to the special shape of the area, dominated by mountains and overlooking the sea, the cuisine is very rich and alternates between strong flavors from the mountains, mainly meat, fish dishes and seafood, typical of the coast. Specialties and local products: Olive Ascolane, Vincisgrassi, Maccheroncini di Campofilone, extra virgin olive oil, cheese, lamb, mutton, ham, pork loin, pork loin, pork, salami, sausages, jams, honey, peaches, plums, cherries, figs, watermelons, melons.
